This year, in accordance with the law, all brides are to be photographed in the bath drinking champagne. It’s law, there’s nothing I can do about it. 😉

A scene in Brighton that caught my eye. The character in the window display is Rosie the Riveter. Rosie is an American cultural icon; she represents the women who worked in factories and shipyards during World War 2.
March 4th saw the Shanghai-born but now London based pianist Ji Liu play at High Rocks. An impressive solo performance, we were treated to Chopin, Liszt, Bach-Siloti, Ravel, Saint-Saens and Rachmaninoff. www.jipianist.com
